European Fibre and Paper Research Organisations

In 2006 EFPRO was legally established as an independent non-profit organisation. Its purpose is to enhance research efficiency and to contribute to the innovative capacity in the wood-fibre value chain.

• The Association of European Fibre and Paper Research Organisations (EFPRO) is a platform for co-operative research in the pulp and paper sector
• EFPRO is a network comprised of 30 public or private research institutions
• EFPRO represents around two-thirds of Europe‘s non-company research capacity in the pulp and paper sector
• PTS is a founder member of EFPRO
