In contract research and consultancy, the PTS staff provides support and assistance, leading firms through the development of new products, enhancing the efficiency of work processes, minimising operating costs, optimising energy and water management, writing and submitting expert opinions and providing assistance in complaint management.

The chemical and physical laboratories at PTS are equipped with innovative and conventional equipment for testing and analysing paper materials, semi-finished and finished products. The samples are subjected to comprehensive testing and subsequent evaluation by skilled staff with long years of experience in this sector.

PTS seminars, workshops and symposia are held by experienced lecturers and presenters from science and industry and create a hallmark of quality. The thematic focus is placed on stock preparation, deinking, papermaking, chemical management, energy and water management, surface/coating technology, paper converting as well as measuring and sensor technologies.
